A New York developer is confident his plan to transform a vacant former casino into a hotel-condominium complex will move forward now that New Jersey has taken over supervision of the project.

Averill Hospitality, the developer, said the project will generate roughly $7 million for Missoula's Affordable Housing Trust Fund.
