This is using a single APC 3000VA 3U UPS with extra battery pack all on a single 120V 30A circuit. I am using HP PDUs. For the time being, this works OK.

Short version: I was changing out the batteries on an older UPS (Exide / NetUPS SE 3000VA) and accidentally shorted them. ... They don't use connectors as do the APC UPSs I've seen.
