AUSTIN, Texas — Weeks after some University of Texas at Austin students expressed disappointment fallout from Senate Bill 17, alumni are stepping in to help them out.

Thursday on the University of Texas at Austin alumni association, Texas Exes, will be ringing in a new tradition. Their hope is to connect past and present students with a common rite of passage.
