It's a tradition that almost got canceled this year, but more than 400 people came out with their kazoos to show their support for a special parade.

The parade marks the start of the three-day event, which also coincides with the 81st anniversary of D-Day.

Saturday's Juneteenth parade, connecting downtown and East Waco, will kick off a day of celebrations with a film screening, a touch of theater and a hair-design contest, plus after-parade parties.
