AIKEN, S.C. (WRDW/WAGT) - Aiken State Park is opening up a new attraction for kids of all ages. On Thursday, park rangers held a ribbon-cutting to unveil the new kids’ trail.

Jan. 1—WINDSOR — Some people spent New Year's Day on the couch, prostrate, with pain relief, sunglasses and water nearby. Others slapped on boots, lashed on packs and headed to Aiken State Park.

Rogers was a 28-year-veteran with the Aiken Public Safety Department. About 200 people attended the memorial service, which included songs, prayer, a Scripture reading and a release of white balloons.
