Mark and Amanda Christianson plan to close their Collecting Threads quilt shop at 2404 State Road in La Crosse by the end of July because of health issues, Mark told me Wednesday.

The Thread and Thimble Quilt Guild will hold their annual Quilt Show from 9 a.m.-6 p.m. Friday, August 8 and 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday, August 9 at the Morristown-Hamblen Library.
