Israeli official says headway made since unprecedented direct discussions between Washington and terror group; US plan said to propose 10 hostages freed for 60-day truce

Israel has accepted the invitation of the mediators backed by the United States and will send a delegation to Doha on Monday in an effort to advance the hostage negotiations, the Prime Minister's Office announced on Saturday. The delegation will be led by M. from the Shin Bet, who is Shin Bet chief Ronen Bar's former deputy.
