While Utah kept finding ways to respond to Winnipeg's goals, a turnover by Michael Kesselring gave Jets forward Nikolaj Ehlers a breakaway goal and a 4-2 lead that Utah couldn't cut into.
Utah struggled to maintain consistent pressure in the offensive zone and Winnipeg took full advantage. The Jets took the lead by finding an unmarked man in front of the net with 14:09 left in the game and then doubled it when Utah lost the puck at the offensive blue line, and Nikolaj Ehlers scored on a free breakaway.
Connor Ingram made 23 saves and tough defence carried the Utah Hockey Club in a 5-2 victory over the Winnipeg Jets on Monday night.

Perfetti put the Jets in front 1-0 with a power-play goal at 17:52 of the first period. Ehlers set it up on the rush with a cross-ice feed to Perfetti for a one-timer from low in the right face-off circle.
