The Toronto Raptors are letting go of big man Bruno Fernando Tuesday ahead of the NBA deadline for his contract to be guaranteed for the season. Michael Grange of Sportsnet was first to report the news. The former Celtics big man signed a non-guaranteed contract with the Raptors in August after he was cut by the Hawks.

The Boston Celtics head to the Toyota Center to face the Houston Rockets in a non-conference matchup. The Celtics are 25-9, which lands them in second place in the Eastern Conference. The Rockets are 22-11, which lands them in third place in the Western Conference.
