People in the Tri-State Area are asking how they can help those who have lost everything in the Los Angeles wildfires.

There are countless heartbreaking stories coming out of Southern California as wildfires continue to cause devastation, and it has many of us wondering how we can help. As CBS News New York's Zinnia Maldonado reports,

The steep toll and shocking scenes are spurring many Americans to try to help the victims by donating. Unfortunately, the situation is rallying another group into action, too: scammers, who are already taking advantage of heightened emotions and sense of urgency to line their pockets.
