Shohei Ohtani spurned the Toronto Blue Jays in free agency two years ago in favour of the Los Angeles Dodgers, and in the World Series opener on Friday the home crowd let the Japanese standout know exactly how they felt about that decision.

Ohtani was spotted wearing a custom jacket with an embroidered image of his dog, Decoy, while arriving for Los Angeles' series-opening clash with the Toronto Blue Jays. It wasn't the first time Ohtani gave a shoutout to Decoy with his clothing, as he wore a suit that featured pictures of his dog during the 2024 All-Star festivities.
