Giannis Antetokounmpo doesn't involve himself in front-office decisions often but he did speak up against a trade involving Khris Middleton for Jimmy Butler years ago, former Bucks forward John Henson said.

Giannis Antetokounmpo has proven that he's not like the average NBA superstar. Instead of leaving for a bigger market, he doubled down on his commitment to the Milwaukee Bucks, stayed with the team that drafted him, and even made his way to an NBA championship.

According to ESPN's Ramona Shelburne, Antetokounmpo was "excited" about the Bucks signing Turner to a four-year deal, although she didn't know if Antetokounmpo was aware that move meant the organization was cutting ties with Lillard. Chris Haynes added Tuesday that Antetokounmpo was unhappy with Milwaukee's decision.
