Democratic National Committee (DNC) Chair Ken Martin said on Sunday that US Senate candidate Graham Platner's social media comments are not "disqualifying.” The comment was made on CNN. Martin did call Platner's comments "indefensible, hurtful, and offensive,” but said he was glad Platner apologized for them.

Platner is a U.S. military veteran and oyster farmer running for the Democratic nomination for the U.S. Senate in Maine.
