Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark has officially been ruled out of the Commissioner's Cup championship game on Tuesday with a left groin injury. The Fever, who are in the championship for the first time in franchise history, will have to take on the defending champion Minnesota Lynx without their best player.

The Indiana Fever guard has missed the past two games because of a groin injury, and the team announced she’ll sit out at Target Center.

The winner of Tuesday's Commissioner's Cup between the Fever and Lynx will receive a total bonus pool of $500,000, as well as $120,000 in cryptocurrency from Coinbase. The prize pool will be split among the players. That means Clark would earn a prize in the range of $41,500 and $46,000.
