The New Orleans Saints have started to interview coaches. The Saints completed a virtual interview Wednesday with Miami Dolphins defensive coordinator Anthony Weaver, the team announced. Weaver marks the team's first announced candidate and there are interviews with others lined up for later in the week.

The NFL coaching carousel is just getting started and Miami Dolphins defensive coordinator Anthony Weaver is already a popular name. Both the Chicago Bears and New Orleans Saints, two of five teams currently without a head coach, have reportedly requested interviews with Weaver.

The Chicago Bears have kicked started their head coach search by requesting interviews with some prominent names, including Detroit Lions offensive coordinator Ben Johnson. But an intriguing candidate has emerged for Chicago's coaching vacancy.

Coach Weaver is a leader of men and you could see that in how he conducts himself and if you ask anybody in the defensive room, he’ll tell you the same,” safety Jevon Holland said.
