The Iconic Blue Flame Marching Band of Godby High School was given a $140,000 check by the superintendent to purchase new uniforms and instruments.

Marching band members said they are glad to be ending 2024 on a high note. “New uniforms, new year, new us,” tenor drum player Rocio Galvez said.

Red, blue, and green and covered in a road design, the 605 All-Star Band uniforms were talkers at this year’s parade.
