Nanocellulose sheets were developed for use as air filters using wood pulp as a potential alternative to Teflon sheets.

Here, the authors report a design principle allowing polymers to be arranged into 2D homeotropic orientations by using long-range dipole-dipole interactions and hot-pressing on Teflon sheets.
