Merritt Island defeated South Walton in four sets to advance to the Class 4A state championship game. The Mustangs won the match 25-22, 19-25, 25-23 and 25-20. Kylee Thompson landed 13 kills, Lydia Scott added 11 kills and one ace, Reece Loggins had 22 digs, and Sarah Niazi finished with 18 digs in the win for Merritt Island.
