The University of South Carolina has locked head football coach Shane Beamer up with a big money extension. On Friday, USC’s Board of Trustees met and approved a raise and contract extension for Beamer that puts him under contract until 2030.

South Carolina football coach Shane Beamer was in Colonial Life Arena as the Gamecock men’s basketball team took on the Mississippi State Bulldogs (a heartbreaking overtime loss following a late-game comeback).

The University of South Carolina is rewarding Shane Beamer after the Gamecocks’ recent success. On Friday, the South Carolina Board of Trustees approved a contract extension for the Gamecocks’ head football coach that will run through the end 2030 and pay him $8.15 million in 2025 with $100,000 raises in each season that follows.
