Bruce Springsteen made an unannounced appearance at Steven Van Zandt's TeachRock benefit at the Stone Pony in Asbury Park, New Jersey on Sunday.

With a new film exploring the life of Bruce Springsteen in theaters, the singer joined Steven Van Zandt for a special performance.

The musicians spoke as part of Van Zandt's education nonprofit TeachRock's "Amplifying Jewish Heritage" series.
