The National Trust of Sri Lanka’s lecture on Thursday, November 28, will be on the “Traditional dance costumes of Sri Lanka and the art of Somabandhu Vidyapathy” by Kala Keerthi Ravibandu Vidyapathy.

The Ves dancer had to traditionally don a costume of 64 ornaments, believed to be a replica of the attire worn by the associated deity, god Kohomba. This attire is unique to the Ves dance recital.
