The reality for many of these season ticket holders had more to do with hometown pride than the names on the front or back of the jersey — especially since the team’s connection to the city has been relegated to a sleeve patch.

The Arizona Diamondbacks banned season-ticket holder Dave McCaskill from Chase Field for the rest of the season because of "multiple offenses" during games, including fan interference on a fly ball on Monday during a game against the San Francisco Giants.

The Diamondbacks fan who interfered with a live ball during Monday's game, and multiple other times in recent years, has been banned from Chase Field.
