A driver who crashed his car during a police pursuit and then tried to run away has been sentenced. Scott Bone, 37, came to the attention of police when he was speeding through Water Lane in York on 9 October.

PARSONS, Kan. (WIBW) - At least one person was killed in a crash that occurred during a police chase Thursday afternoon in Labette County in southeast Kansas, authorities said.

During the pursuit, police say the Jeep swerved into the northbound lane and crashed into a silver sedan while trying to evade police. The crash then caused the sedan to crash into a black pickup truck, which ended up turning on its side, according to police.
