Police said four suspects ran from the crashed vehicle. Officers recovered firearms at the scene and took all four individuals into custody. Police also said an adult female and a 3-year-old child were in the suspect vehicle. One suspect was bitten by a police K-9 and is being evaluated for injuries.

A Thibodaux man was killed and a few others were injured Wednesday night after a brief police chase through Lafourche Parish ended in a four-vehicle crash, according to Louisiana State Police. Isaiah Thomas, 36, was killed in the crash just before 9 p.m., after fleeing a traffic stop.
