Brad Bondi, the brother of Attorney General Pam Bondi, got trounced in the election for president of the D.C. Bar, according to the results announced Monday. He accused “rabid partisans” of setting out to damage his reputation.

The brother of U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi suffered a huge defeat in the election for president of the DC Bar, falling around 30,000 votes short of the winner. Bradley J. Bondi notched up just 3,490 votes in the contest versus Diane A.

Bondi, who lost the election by more than 31,000 votes, said "rabid partisans lurched this election into the political gutter"
