EAST ORANGE — An East Orange man was convicted today of brutally beating his wife using a cable wire and Venetian blind wand, according to Acting Essex County Prosecutor Carolyn A. Murray.

NEWARK — An East Orange who was convicted of beating his wife using a cable wire and Venetian blind wand was sentenced today to 22 years in prison, the Essex County Prosecutor's Office said today.
