After the Indianapolis Colts cut cornerback JuJu Brents and tight end Jelani Woods on Tuesday, new teams have swooped in to claim both players from waivers on Wednesday afternoon.

Following roster cuts, the Jets dipped into the wavier wire system three different times to claim a trio of players. In doing so, heading to New York's roster are a new linebacker, tight end and offensive lineman. Who exactly were the Jets awarded?

Now, Woods will join a Jets tight end room that consists of rookie Mason Taylor, Jeremy Ruckert, and Stone Smartt. The Jets also claimed two former Chiefs: linebacker Cam Jones and tackle Esa Pole. Jones played in 34 games for the Chiefs during the previous two seasons and recorded 36 tackles, mainly in a backup role.
