The AI can pull up the names of actors in TV shows, crank up the brightness, and even dim the lights when you fall asleep

At CES 2025, Samsung unveiled its new lineup of smart TVs. The South Korean company is betting on its Vision AI technology, which not only powers “amazing picture quality, but also serves as your adaptive, intelligent companions.” The new lineup includes updates to the Neo QLED 8K, Neo QLED 4K, OLED models, and The Frame TVs.

You’ll be able to stream from Game Pass Ultimate’s library (and some of your own games) when the Xbox app launches on the latest LG TVs later this year.

Samsung's new TV lineup will have several features focused on accessibility. Live Translation will instantly translate closed captions on live broadcasts in up to seven languages, and Voice Removal with Audio Subtitles will use AI to analyze subtitles, isolate voices, and adjust reading speed.

LG and Samsung have both announced their 2025 smart TVs at CES this weekend, and some of them will include access to Microsoft’s Copilot AI assistant. Both TV manufacturers are chasing the artificial intelligence hype train with dedicated AI sections on their smart TVs that include a shortcut to a Copilot web app.

Some of the most anticipated announcements at CES each year come from Samsung. That’s why consumer reporter Steve Noviello went to the Samsung First Look event, where everything was so top secret he couldn’t show it to you until now.
