At his first media days event since an awkward start in Chicago, UCF football coach Scott Frost opened up about where he is now.

"Don't take the wrong job" was Frost's lesson, via The Athletic's Chris Vannini. Frost left UCF after the Knights went 13-0 and won the Peach Bowl. He said at the time he'd only leave for a program that could win a national title, and his alma mater clearly drew him in.

Scott Frost was viewed as a home run hire by Nebraska back in 2018. He was fired less than five years later, following a disastrous tenure. Frost, who led Nebraska to a national championship as a quarterback for Tom Osborne in 1997,
