It wasn’t the outcome they wanted. But in a way, it was what they needed to go through to get back here. In its fourth straight NCAA Championship appearance last season, the South Carolina women’s golf team endured a tough weekend.

Just last month, three South Carolina Gamecock golfers competed in the Augusta National Women’s Amateur Tournament. Now, coach Kalen Anderson’s team will head to California to compete for a national title on Friday.
