The Ukrainian Security Service announced that it had uncovered a suspected Hungarian military intelligence network aimed at obtaining confidential information on Ukraine’s defence and military capabilities.

Ukraine said Friday two alleged members of a Hungarian spy network have been detained. The spies sought military information about the Zakarpattia region, according to the Security Service of Ukraine.

Ukraine’s Security Service (SBU) announced Friday it had uncovered a Hungarian spy network operating in the southwestern Zakarpattia region, detaining two individuals accused of attempting to collect sensitive military intelligence.
