Cowboys reportedly interested in proposing a trade for Raiders' star edge-rusher Maxx Crosby ahead of the 2025 deadline
After trading Micah Parsons to the Green Bay Packers prior to the start of the 2025 NFL regular season, the Dallas Cowboys are reportedly showing interest in another superstar pass-rusher.
The notion of Maxx Crosby as a Cowboys trade target elicited a good bit of skepticism, but maybe there's some reason behind the potential blockbuster.
Crosby, of course, signed a three-year $106.5 million extension in March of this year, in a deal that guaranteed him $91.5 million and made him, at least at the time, the highest-paid non-quarterback in the NFL. The deal was set to keep him in Las Vegas through the 2029 season, when he turns 32 years old.
Teams will inquire about Maxx Crosby's availability in hopes that the Raiders are sellers ahead of the November 4 trade deadline. One club might be first in line if the Silver and Black part ways with their star pass-rusher.
