Det. Duane Danforth has been placed on paid administrative leave as a result of the incident in Florida, which occurred while he was off duty, according to Brookline Police Chief Jennifer Paster.

Duane Danforth, 38, was arrested on Jan. 30 at Epcot in Bay Lake, Florida, according to an affidavit. Danforth allegedly tried to enter a private event that was being held at the theme park.
