Aaron Glenn began his NFL career with the New York Jets, and now he's returning home, on Wednesday agreeing to become the team's newest head coach following a four-year run as the Detroit Lions defensive coordinator.

The Detroit Lions defensive coordinator and Washington Commanders assistant general manager Lance Newmark had second interviews in New York on Tuesday. A separate report stated that the Jets’ plan was to “not let them leave the building” until they signed.

The New York Jets have their new head coach, and he's a familiar face to Gang Green fans. Aaron Glenn, a former NFL cornerback who played eight seasons with the Jets, will take over a team that is coming off a disappointing 5-12 season, according to multiple reports.
