Iowa took down Nebraska, 97-87, in overtime on January 7 in Iowa City as the Hawkeyes were 17-of-35 from three in the victory. The Huskers are 17-13 on the season with a 7-12 Big Ten record.

Pryce Sandfort is transferring from Iowa to Nebraska. Sandfort, a 6-foot-7 forward from Waukee, played in all 33 games for the Hawkeyes this season and averaged 8.8 points.
