Tales from ’85, revealing a wide range of terrifying new monsters. Set between seasons 1 and 2, Tales from ’85 is an animated Stranger Things adventure that’s apparently cracked the spinoff code. According to showrunner Eric Robles,

Stranger Things: Tales from '85 is thrilling but slightly puzzling for the timeline. It helps to fill in a gap in the timeline that we didn’t get to see before, and it introduces new supernatural events that have some fans wondering how it all comes together.

"We get to go back in time and really just hang out with these kids," showrunner Eric Robles said.
