‘Half-fish, half-human’ Mummified mermaid discovered in Japan with traits linked to rare Kappa folklore artefact

A “mummified half-fish, half-human” figure was reportedly found in an old house in Fukushima. The skeletal remains appear to have a humanoid upper bod.
