Morris famously played the alligator who bit off the hand of Happy Gilmore’s mentor, Chubbs, played by the late Carl Weathers.Morris was estimated to be 80 years old.

But there's a whole generation that will remember him as one-handed Chubbs Peterson, the former pro golfer who helps the titular Happy Gilmore go from hockey star to winner on the links.

Morris had a pivotal role in “Happy Gilmore.” He was the alligator responsible for taking the hand of Happy’s (Adam Sandler) coach’s hand. The coach, Chubbs, was played by Carl Weathers.

Of course, the reveal backfired because Chubbs was so startled that he fell out of a window. While in the afterlife, he did tell Happy not to feel bad because he got his hand back following his death.
