French hypermarket chain Géant, a joint venture between Fu-Com International and top retailer Groupe Casino, has announced the opening of its second outlet in the Riffa area of Bahrain.

Geant Hypermarket will open its third branch in Bahrain next year. A lease agreement was signed with the Muharraq Mall Company, developer of the Muharraq Seef Mall, for a 4,000 sq m store.

Geant has become a landmark in Bahrain, and we have between 12,000 and 14,000 visitors during the week, which grows to around 18,000 to 20,000 at the weekend. What will be your strategy in the UAE?
