Longtime co-host Steve Doocy announced this week he is stepping away from the “Fox & Friends” morning show and relocating to Florida full time. The 68-year-old was clear he’s not retiring, but after decades of waking up at 3:30 a.m. to drive into New York City from New Jersey, he’s ready for a later start time.

Steve Doocy, one of the most reliably present personalities on morning TV over the last three decades, is cutting back on both that presence and reliability. The "Fox & Friends" host announced Thursday he'll trim his workload on the program to three days a week — with all his appearances going forward originating from Florida,
