LINCOLN — Ed Foley is out as Nebraska’s special teams coordinator, the school confirmed Saturday night, though it’s possible he could remain in a different role on NU’s staff.

Reed, who has been rehabbing from a November 2023 ACL tear now is within his 21-day practice window. This means, that Reed can begin practicing for the team without counting against the 53-man roster.
