DODGE CENTER, Minn. — A 63-year-old Con-Tech employee was crushed to death by a 5,000-pound cement mixer drum on Monday morning, according to the Dodge County Sheriff’s Department.

Merwin was a volunteer fireman for the Dodge Center Fire Department for 30 years. He was a founding board member of the Dodge Center Sportsmen’s Club in 1965. He was the treasurer until 2019.
