JPMorgan Chase & Co. has appointed veteran banker Cassander Verwey as co-head of its mergers and acquisitions business in Europe, Middle East and Africa.

Verwey's appointment follows the departure of Carsten Woehrn, its co-head of Emea M&A and co-head of financial sponsors M&A, who left for Goldman Sachs in April, FN revealed.
