YORK, Pa. — There has been surge in homeless people at shelters operated by LifePath Christian Ministries in York. Patrick Ball, interim CEO, said the shelter is up 50% over last year.

During an annual Thanksgiving meal at LifePath Christian Ministries in York, a 12-year-old was honored for his years of volunteering. Lucas Caceres was given a chef's hat in recognition.
