L.A. County public health officials are reupping their warning to pet owners: Do not feed pets raw food. More cats have been sickened from eating H5N1-infected food.

Bird flu has been found in another brand of raw pet food, Monarch Raw Pet Food, which was sold at several Southern California farmers markets.

Northwest Naturals is recalling a line of its pet food after authorities Oregon linked the death of a cat to a batch contaminated with bird flu.

The Los Angeles County Department of Public Health has warned that raw pet food products have tested positive for bird flu and sickened pet cats in the area.

The H5N1 bird flu virus has been found in samples of Monarch Raw Pet Food, and a cat that ate the food is confirmed to have been infected.

Another brand of raw pet food has been found to contain bird flu and has made at least five house cats presumably sick with the virus, health officials say.
