The Merritt Island Mustangs will travel north on Friday to take on the Titusville Terriers in the Space Coast Daily Game of the Week.

The top four teams in the Brevard high school football rankings remain unchanged from the previous week. Several key district matchups are scheduled for Week 9 after weather postponed some Week 8 games. This week's 321prep rankings reflects another week of shuffling in the middle along with one team making a return to the rankings.

In the SSAA, undefeated Satellite will be on the road against Somerset Academy Key. Space Coast is hosting Bayside for Week 8 of the SSAA season. Brevard's two 8-man teams will both be hosting games. Merritt Island Christian hosts Legacy Charter and Calvary Chapel welcomes Lakeside Christian.

Several Brevard County high school football teams secured victories on Friday, Oct. 10. Melbourne High School achieved its 500th all-time program win by defeating East River. Two games, Cocoa vs. Apopka and Eau Gallie vs. Merritt Island, were rescheduled for early November.
