The Buffaloes have enjoyed gobs of success and publicity as of late. Most of that revolves around their oft-discussed taskmaster, Deion Sanders. The 57-year-old is perhaps college football's most popular figure. Yet, those hoping to mimic his role within Colorado's program will be left sorely disappointed — he's not in the game.

Colorado's Deion Sanders, North Carolina's Bill Belichick and Miami's Mario Cristobal and three of the key names who have chosen not to be part of the game's release. Colorado's head coach is, instead, Level 40 elite recruiter Kirk Patrick, while North Carolina's coach is a Level 30 "scheme guru" named Hector Luna.
Apparently, Sanders and Belichick joined a handful of big-name coaches who decided not to be a part of the highly anticipated video game.
If you're playing the new College Football 26 from EA Sports that's finally out, you'll notice two coaches who aren't real people who are running their respective teams. According to The Athletic's Chris Vannini, with screenshots: North Carolina is coached by a guy named Hector Luna, while Kirk Patrick is the head coach at Colorado.
There is good reason to believe that the best is yet to come for T.J. Sanders. The Buffalo Bills certainly believe that to be true, which explains why the team traded up in the second round of the NFL draft in April to select him.
