Recently, a former executive for 20th Century Studios revealed that not only had an Alien Vs. Predator anime been approved, but it was completed, only to remain locked away.

It was there he showed screenshots and designs from the Aliens vs Predator anime. The art dates back to 2015, and fans were treated to the show’s working title Aliens vs Predator: Annihilation.

"There is, sitting at Disney now, at 20th Studios, 10 episodes of a fully completed Alien vs. Predator anime series that I produced," Izzo said. "It’s done. It’s in the can.

Disney now owns the rights to the Alien vs. Predator franchise, having acquired 21st Century Fox in March 2019. If you ask us, there’s never been a better time to release it.
