By the time Invest 98L reaches the central Caribbean in the middle to later part of this week, a tropical depression is likely to form.
Recent satellite wind data indicate the tropical wave (Invest 98L) located over the eastern Caribbean Sea still lacks a closed circulation, but continues to produce a concentrated area of showers and thunderstorms.
It will slow down by the middle of next week over the very warm waters of the Caribbean, just south of Puerto Rico, the DR, and Haiti.
