Clothing styles in the 19th century were frilly and elaborate and glamorous, but also heavy, hot, binding and potentially dangerous, according to a new exhibit at Naper Settlement.

It’s the 28th year Hale Farm has offered the lantern-lit walking tours of the historic site. Tours last approximately 90 minutes and include the sights and sounds of a 19th century holiday season.
